This Bourbon Holiday Cocktail is perfect around the Holidays. My family always loves enjoying special cocktails during that time of year and we have also found that it makes for a fun cocktail at parties.
This recipe calls for honey syrup (aka honey simple syrup) which is also used in our delicious Gold Rush. Honey syrup is made by mixing 1:1 honey and water and heating it up in a pot and stirring until the color becomes one.
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 2 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 ounce pomegranate juice
- 1 ounce honey syrup
- orange soda to taste
Garnish
- 1/2 orange wheel
- pomegranate seeds
Make the cocktail
Fill a cocktail glass with ice. Pour in the bourbon, orange juice, pomegranate juice and honey syrup. Top with orange soda. Stir with a bar spoon.
Garnish with pomegranate seeds and half of an orange wheel. Enjoy!
